FREITAG - URBAN BIBLE

FREITAG, a Swiss brand that recycles materials such as used truck tarpaulins into bags and accessories, has collected a global following fans with its modern design and reliable durability.

In the special year of 2020, FREITAG, together with LE PASSAGE, planned and launched the  "Urban Bible"  featured editorial, rethinking the cities we live in and the consumption and cultural life that unfolds in them, in an attempt to make a concrete response to  "better living" .

瑞士品牌 FREITAG 通过循环再造的方式,将卡车废旧篷布等材料回收再加工成包袋以及配饰,凭借现代感的设计和可靠耐用度,在全球范围内捕获了众多粉丝。

2020 年这个特殊的年份,FREITAG 联合 LE PASSAGE 一同策划并发起「城市真经」特辑,重新思考我们生活的城市及在其中所展开的消费和文化生活,试图对「更好的生活」作出具体回应。

Based on FREITAG's long-standing thinking and exploration of urbanity, we invited four experienced FREITAG users from different fields to see and experience Shanghai from their perspectives, discovering the unique meaning of the city and sharing their sincere urban thoughts.

The LEP team worked closely with the brand during the feature planning, casting and content production stages to create an in-depth content and reading experience that is unique to the brand. The content of the  “Urban Bible"  featured editorial will be released on FREITAG's WeChat official account continually, so stay tuned for more details in 2021.

在专题策划、人物选角及内容制作阶段,LEP 团队与品牌紧密合作,合力打造出具有品牌独特性的深度内容及阅读体验。「城市真经」特辑内容将在 FREITAG 品牌公众号上持续释出,敬请关注期待。

Founder of Standard Nerds Club, a table tennis club dedicated to community sustainability. Toto talks about the opportunities and challenges she found in building a niche cultural community like ping pong, which is losing ground to a younger market, and how members of the community have come to identify themselves with each other through this activity.

An industrial designer who has long focused on the issues of consumerism and environmental protection, co-founder of Good Old Shop, and editor of CCC, an environmental magazine. In the conversation, Yang shares his long-standing thoughts on consumer activities, the impact of individual consumption on the environment, and the contradictory relationship between  "good living"  and consumerism.
